Tonight ended with a nice little twist. Last class I decided to work on a community resource web page, but ended up changing my idea. I have an awesome niece who plays basketball on a community team. The coach was wanting to create a website for the team but lacks the time necessary to put into it. I was thinking to kill two birds with one stone. Although I still am interested in creating the community resource site, the project I want to present is my niece basketball team! Go Lady PHENOM!!
On the other hand, in class, we were being introduced to the basics of creating a web site through Microsoft Word and some of it's advanced features. I think I was a bit engaged in the web page development. I look forward to the next few classes to learn about additional sites that are beneficial to educators as a whole.
